Library cards are a great way to enjoy access to materials and resources available to North Carolina residents.
To be eligible for a Harold D. Cooley Library card, we require a government issued photo ID and proof of address (address can be verified if the correct address is listed on your photo ID.)
Anyone who lives, works, or owns property in Nash County can apply and receive a Harold D. Cooley Library Card!
The fee for an out of county Harold D. Cooley Library card is $15.00 for one (1) year and will need to be renewed annually in order to check out library materials and access our online databases.
We do offer an Internet Only card, that is free of charge for those wishing to use our in-house computers and laptops. Internet Only cards prohibit checking out items including eResources through Libby/OverDrive.
Those under the age of 16 are required to have their legal parent or guardian present in order to receive a library card.
If you have any questions, please call the Library staff at 252-459-2106.
