The Nashville Fire Department is responsible for fire and life safety services to the citizens and visitors of Nashville, North Carolina. We have two response districts which includes the Town of Nashville as well as our rural district, the Newton S. Gulley District.
The Nashville Fire Department operates as a combination system that utilizes twenty-four hour shift personnel with support from our volunteer members. We are also aided by the Nashville Fire District Auxiliary which is made up of citizens and former fire department members.
As of today, the Nashville Fire Department is operated by the Town of Nashville and managed by a Fire Chief. The Nashville Fire Department is dedicated to providing a wide range of services that are focused on community safety and risk reduction.
