As of July 1, 2023, the Town will charge a fee of $75.00 for any water reconnections after normal business hours. Normal Business hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday – Friday).

All full-time and part-time employees of the Town of Nashville are eligible for employee benefits as listed below. Temporary/Seasonal employees are not eligible for benefits.
Group Insurance Plans
Medical Insurance and Prescription Drug Coverage are provided through our participation in the State Health Plan .
Life Insurance is provided through Unum for all employees. Dependent Life Insurance is also available.
Teladoc
The Teledoc Benefit is provided to employees and their dependents (even if not covered on our medical plan) and provides 24/7 medical coverage at no cost to the employee.
Voluntary Benefits
We partner with Municipal Benefits, Inc. to offer voluntary benefits to our employees. Plans include Short-Term and Long-Term Disability, Cancer, Critical Illness, Accident, and Life Insurance.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Flexible Spending Accounts are available for medical spending and dependent care.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
EAP counseling services are provided to employees and their dependents for confidential assistance in handling family issues, emotional, stress-related, drug and alcohol, and legal problems.
401(k) supplemental retirement benefits are provided to all full-time employees with no employee contribution required. The Town of Nashville contributes 3% of an employee's salary if they are a general employee and contributes 5% for law enforcement employees.
457(b) supplemental retirement benefits are also available for all employees. The Town does not contribute to this plan on behalf of the employees.
Tuition Assistance Program
Eligible employees may apply for reimbursement of up to $1,000 per fiscal year for costs of approved courses taken at an accredited college or institution through the Town's Tuition Assistance Program.
Local Government Federal Credit Union
All employees are eligible to join the Local Government Federal Credit Union. Branches are located inside State Employees' Credit Union. Scholarships are also available through LGFCU for its members.
Corrections Enterprises
Employees of the Town of Nashville are also eligible to purchase products at Corrections Enterprises. This no-cost benefit can provide hundreds of dollars in savings each year on the purchase of eyeglasses, printing, reupholstery, framing and matting, gift items, wood furniture, and metal products that are available at www.correctionenterprises.com.
Vacation, Sick Leave, and Holidays
All full-time and part-time employees earn vacation and sick leave in each payroll period. Holiday leave is granted to all full-time and part-time employees for each holiday observed by the Town. Shift employees receive holiday pay in addition to any hours worked on observed holidays.
