Welcome to the dedicated page for the Nashville Town Council!  Formed in 1780, the Town of Nashville is nestled conveniently between Raleigh and Rocky Mount, NC.  It serves as the County seat for Nash County.  Located within our "Mayberry" like town are historic homes like the Historic Bissett-Cooley House and other Victorian and Queen Anne style homes.  Nashville's Town Council is comprised of 4-Council Members and 1-Mayor.  In 2019, the Town's estimated population was 5,554.  We welcome you to our website that allows citizens and visitors to become familiar with who we are, what we do, and how "the original Nashville" values transparency.
