The H. D. Cooley Library is running a Pet Food for Fines canned food drive to benefit the Nash County Animal Shelter. From October 15-26, patrons can bring in canned pet food (no expired or open food please) and receive $1 off their overdue fines per can. This does not apply towards lost item fees.

Patrons are welcome to donate pet food even if they don't have overdue fees! This event is in celebration of National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month and Make a Difference Day.
