As of July 1, 2023, the Town will charge a fee of $75.00 for any water reconnections after normal business hours. Normal Business hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday – Friday).

The Public is hereby notified of a Special Called Meeting of the Nashville Town Council on Monday, March 30, 2020 beginning at 3:00 PM in the Town Council Chambers, 114 W. Church Street, Nashville.
This meeting will be held for the purpose of:
1) Consideration of Resolution 2020-04: Resolution to adopt a Title VI policy for the Town of Nashville to prohibit discrimination in programs and services and in activities receiving federal financial assistance.
2) Consideration of Resolution 2020-05: Resolution requesting the Nash County Commissioners to increase the N.S. Gulley Fire District Property Tax Rate to $0.15 per $100 of taxable value.
3) Consideration of Resolution 2020-06: Resolution ceasing the Town of Nashville’s application of late payment penalties and disconnections of municipal utilities for non-payment in response to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.
4) Consideration of Budget Amendments
a. #19 – To appropriate funds for yard waste and cemetery site clean-up per NCDEQ Notice of Violation
b. #20 – To reallocate funds with Police Salary and Uniform line items due to high turnover and to allocate funds for VC3 IT and phone service
c. #21 – To allocate funds for Police Pen-Link phone investigation and tracking software
d. #22 – To allocate funds to relocate the Council Chambers podium
e. #23 – To allocate funds to cover overages in Water & Sewer Safety and Administration Telephone & Postage and to begin the DOC Lift Station Rehab Project
