Town Council Agenda Meeting
Pursuant to N.C. General Statute §158-7.1, notice is hereby given that the Town of Nashville Town Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 7:00 pm in Town Council Chambers, 114 W. Church Street in Nashville, NC. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public input on the proposed allocation of $10,000 as a match to Nash County’s Retail and Small Business Incentive Grant program to Bell’s Hardware for Economic Development to relocate Town of Nashville sewer infrastructure along the Washington Street property in order to assist with business redevelopment and expansion, resulting in an increase in taxable property and employment opportunities. The proposed funding source would be $5,000 from the Town of Nashville’s General Fund and $5,000 from the Town of Nashville’s Enterprise Fund.
Interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and express their views.
